Arike Ogunbowale is an NBA player for the Dallas Wings, a team in the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale played college basketball with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being selected by the Wings as a fifth overall pick for the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale, born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 2 1997, was the daughter of Yolanda Ogunbowale and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale as well as Dare Ogunbowale are both 20-years old. On July 7, 2014, Ogunbowale was selected to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected to be part of the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first collegiate campaign. The coach even thanked the Kobe Bryant after she hit numerous big shots during the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale may be new to basketball, but she's rapidly made herself known.
